The territory

Come and visit us and explore South Tyrol as part of a special active holiday.

Lappach, a dream village in the Ahrntal Valley, offers almost countless possibilities for excursions, sporting challenges, cultural attractions and moments of relaxation in nature, both in winter and in summer.
We have created an intimate and welcoming oasis surrounded by the mountains. We list only some of the places that you can visit, both in summer and winter, of course on site we can recommend itineraries, destinations and points of interest.

Mühlwald

The name of the town and therefore of the valley derives from medieval High German mül (“mill”) and walt (“wood”), it also refers to the many water mills that are found along the rivulets of the valley. The village is completely surrounded by the peaks of the Zillertal Alps, which have peaks reaching 3,000 m asl. Some examples are the Hochfeiler which reaches 3,510 meters, the Edelrauthütte and the Weißzint which exceeds 3,371 meters.

In the municipal area are the hamlets of Lappach (Lappach, equipped with a Kneipp facility) and Aussermühlwald, as well as the artificial lakes of Mühlwald and Neves. Following their emissary, we descend along the Mühlwaldertal to Mühlen in Taufers.

Ahrntal

The Ahrntal Valley is considered one of the most beautiful and unspoiled valleys in all of South Tyrol, surrounded by over 80 mountains that reach and exceed 3000 meters above sea level (Western Tauern Alps) and boasts more than 180 mountain huts.

The Ahrntal has kept the customs and traditions of the Alpine populations unaltered, which can be “experienced” during the various events. Then we cannot forget the myriads of paths that branch off throughout the valley for excursions and trekking.

Tauferer Ahrntal

The Tauferer Ahrntal is a valley located in South Tyrol, which starts from Sand in Taufers and descends to Bruneck, a characteristic city rich in history and tradition.

Before the town of Sand in Taufers, a must-visit destination, the valley has a different name, it takes the name of Ahrntal, following the stream of the same name and the state road 621 of Valle Aurina.

Breathtaking views, hiking and trekking routes, many via ferratas available, equipped adventure parks and let’s not forget that here you can also practice canyoning and rafting.
